Tell us about your new book! 

The Emblem Island series takes place in a world where everyone is born with markings that dictate their fate and talents—a lifeline that represents how a person's life will unfold, and an emblem that gives them a special power. It is inspired by Latinx myths from my childhood, and there are stories between the chapters, like a book within a book.

Never give up! Emblem Island is the 6th book I wrote.

I love making chocolate smoothies!

I love the Night Witch's castle! It's exactly as I imagined it.
