Do you have any pets?

I have six pets! Two dogs, three cats, and one rabbit!

Who is your favorite fictional character?

Anne from Anne of Green Gables.

Have you had any horrible/hilarious/awesome jobs besides writer?

I was a cashier at a retro burger and milkshake place called Johnny Rockets. All the tables had jukeboxes, and whenever someone played a specific song we all had to stop what we were doing, run to the counter, and sing to the music and do a choreographed dance. I was in high school at the time, so this was particularly mortifying when I had to dance and sing in front of my friends.

What is your favorite thing to eat?

Cookies!

Karina’s Top Ten Favorite Cookies:

  1. Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel Cookies

  2. Jam Thumbprint Cookies

  3. Black and White Cookies

  4. Gingerbread Molasses Cookies

  5. Lemon Coconut Cookies

  6. Lemon Bar Cookies

  7. Chocolate Chip Cookies

  8. Chocolate Chip and Tahini Cookies

  9. Oatmeal Raisin

  10. Peanut Butter Cookies

What is The Vanderbeekers: Lost and Found about?
